Inauguration field trial

Today Minister Patricia Ceysens, Flanders minister of Economy and Science, planted the first biotech poplar with improved bio-energy characteristics. The coming three years hundreds of biotech poplars will be subject to a field trial. It is the first field trial in Belgium since quite some years and it represents an important step towards future value creation of this research.
